RAISIN FILLED COOKIES 
3/4 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/4 c. sweet milk
3 1/2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
Pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter with sugar. Add well beaten eggs, sweet milk and flour in which is sifted baking powder and salt. Add vanilla. Roll on floured board and cut out with a round cookie cutter. Put one layer on cookie sheet then 1 tablespoon raisin filling then place another cookie on top of first and seal edges together. Bake 30 minutes in medium oven.

RAISIN FILLING:

1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 c. raisins, chopped fine (or ground)
1 c. water

Mix sugar with flour. Add raisins. Add water and cook until thick. Let cool before using.
