1 c. sugar 1 c. white Karo syrup 18 oz. jar chunky peanut butter 4 c. Special K cereal 6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips 6 oz. pkg. butterscotch chips Bring sugar and syrup to boil. Remove from stove and add peanut butter and cereal. Stir until well mixed and spread in a 10 x 15 cookie sheet. Melt the chocolate and butterscotch chips together and spread on top of peanut butter and cereal mixture. When chocolate and butterscotch have hardened, cut into squares. Will keep well for some time in cookie tin and will freeze well. |
