APRICOT CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 c. apricots

Cook apricots until mushy; cool. Beat butter, egg and sugar until creamy. Add dry ingredients, beat well. Add extract and apricots. Bake at 350 degrees until done.

FROSTING:

1 c. powdered sugar
1 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. apricot juice
A few drops almond extract

Mix well, frost cooled cake.
