A SALAD TREAT 
1 sm. onion, minced
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
4 med. potatoes
6 strips bacon
1 (lb.) can cut green beans, drained
1/4 lb. salami, cut thin strips
Lettuce, your choice
2 hard boiled eggs
1 c. sliced celery
1/2 green pepper, cut in thin strips

Peel potatoes and dice; cook in boiling salt water just until tender. Drain. Fry bacon until crisp; crumble. Set aside.

In large bowl, combine potatoes, 1 tablespoon drippings, green beans, celery, green pepper, onions, salt, pepper and salami.

Add 1 cup creamy dressing (your choice) and toss lightly. Chill 1 hour. Arrange i a large bowl. Garnish with sliced eggs and (choice) crumbled bacon. Makes 8 servings. This is a complete meal in one. Serve any kind of biscuit or muffin to compliment the salad.
