6 pkgs. Ramen noodles 6 c. vegetables of choice (cauliflower, broccoli, green peppers, carrots, water chestnuts, etc.) chopped or sliced in bite-sized pieces 2 c. meat (pork chops in julienne strips; sausage; tuna) 3 tbsp. oil 1/2 c. water If you're using pork chops, brown in heated oil first. Add all vegetables and "steam" on low in covered Dutch oven. While vegetables are steaming, soak noodles in hot water. Drain noodles after about 10 minutes. Add to vegetable mixture. Sprinkle with seasoning packets, add 1/2 cup water; stir well. Cook, covered for about 5-10 minutes on low. |
