LEMON ICE BOX PIE 
1 baked pie shell
3 egg yolks
1/2 c. lemon juice
1 can sweetened condensed milk
3 egg whites
2 tbsp. sugar
Pinch of salt
Pinch of baking powder

Beat egg yolks, gradually add lemon juice and beat well. Add milk, stirring constantly. Pour filling into baked pie shell. Beat egg whites until stiff, not dry. Gradually add sugar, then salt and lastly, baking powder which will make the meringue stand up. Spread over filling, sealing to edges of pastry. Bake at 375 degrees until golden. Chill before serving.
