RAISIN - DROP COOKIES 
2 sticks butter, softened
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tbsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. raisins

Beat butter and sugar well. Add eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla. Sift together flour and baking powder; mix lightly with butter mixture. Add raisins. Drop by teaspoonful on buttered cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Chocolate chips may be added or substituted for raisins.
