2 stick room temperature butter 2 c. sugar 1 c. light brown sugar 2/3 c. dark corn syrup 6 lg. eggs 6 sq. (6 oz.) unsweetened chocolate 2 c. all purpose flour 2 c. chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans) Line bottom and sides of 15 x 10 jelly roll pan with foil. In bowl mix with wooden spoon butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and syrup. Stir in eggs one at a time until blended. In saucepan on low heat melt chocolate, stir in sugar mixture until blended. Add flour and stir until smooth. Add nuts. Turn into pan and spread out with spatula. Bake at 350 degrees preheated oven about 40 minutes. Cool on wire rack then refrigerate uncovered until chilled. Cut into bars. |
