CHINESE SLAW 
1 (#2) can French cut beans
1 diced pimento (sm. bottle)
1 (#2) can Chinese vegetables
1 (#2) can English peas
1 can chopped water chestnuts
1 med. onion, sliced and ringed
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. vinegar
Salt and pepper

Drain all vegetables and combine in glass container with lid. Heat sugar and vinegar and pour over vegetables. Add salt and pepper to taste. Refrigerate several hours before serving.
