1 1/2 lb. ground beef 1 lb. ground pork 4 lbs. potatoes, chopped 1 c. minced onion 1 lb. carrots, chopped 1 med. size rutabaga, chopped Salt and pepper to taste Pats of butter Pie crust enough for 10 to 9 inch crusts Roll crust out and fill 1/2 of crust with vegetable mixture. Put at least 2 pats of butter and salt and pepper to taste. Seal each carefully and make 2 or 3 (1/2 inch) slits on the top for steam to escape. Bake 1 hour at 400 degrees. After they are baked they freeze well. Microwaved to heat up. Serve with catsup. |
