BLUEBERRY BREAD 
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. mashed bananas
1/2 c. quick-cooking oatmeal
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. blueberries

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Add mashed bananas and mix well. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Add the blueberries last. Bake in greased and floured loaf pan 350 degrees for 50-55 minutes. Makes 1 loaf.
