LENTIL SOUP | |
1 lb. ground hamburger, browned and drained well 1 c. dried lentils, rinse off 1 c. diced carrots 1 c. diced cabbage 1 c. diced onions 1 tsp. fine chopped green pepper (optional) 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 2 beef bouillon cubes 46 oz. can tomato juice 5 c. water Mix everything together. Put in slow cooker on low until done. Stir once in a while. It can be started on high for about an hour until it's good and hot then turned down. |
