AUNT ELVA'S BUTTERMILK PIE 
1 stick butter
2 c. sugar
3 rounded tbsp. flour
9 inch pie shell, unbaked
3 eggs, beaten
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine softened butter, sugar, and cream together well. Add flour and eggs; beat well. Stir in buttermilk and vanilla. Pour into pie shell and bake for 45-55 minutes at 350 degrees. Place on a wire rack to cool completely before cutting.
