SWEDISH WALNUT CAKE 
2 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Stir together eggs and sugar. In a separate bowl, combine flour and soda. Then add to egg mixture and mix well. Add pineapple, walnuts and vanilla and mix with spoon. Bake in ungreased pan for 40 minutes.

TOPPING:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 stick butter
2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

With electric mixer, combine all ingredients. Spread while cake is still warm. OPTIONAL: Top with 1/2 cup crushed walnuts.
