6 eggs
1/2 lb. butter
1 lb. brown sugar
2 c. granulated sugar
1 1/2 tsp. Karo white syrup
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
4 tsp. baking soda
1 1/4 to 1 1/2 lb. peanut butter
9 c. quick-cooking oatmeal
1/2 lb. chocolate chips
1/2 lb. M & M's, plain

Mix and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 12 minutes. Watch carefully--they burn easily! They will turn a shade darker after coming out of the oven, so let set on cookie sheet a minute. Makes 7 to 8 dozen. I have also tried this recipe in a bar cookie which I enjoy just as much because of the reduced work. Again, watch very carefully and remove before they brown in the oven because they will brown on top of the stove.
