THE BEST BLUEBERRY MUFFINS 
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 to 1 1/4 c. white sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
2 c. blueberries, washed & drained

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease muffin tins (or use paper liners).

2. Cream butter and sugar, then add eggs.

3. Sift flour, salt and baking powder together and add to the creamed mixture alternately with the milk.

4. Mix in blueberries. Fill tins 2/3 full.

5. Bake for 30 minutes. Yield: 1 dozen muffins.
