STUFFED GREEN PEPPERS 
4 lg. green pepper
1 lg. ground beef
1/8 tsp. garlic salt
1 c. cooked brown rice
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 or 3 slices Swiss cheese, grated

Cut thin slice from stem end of each pepper. Remove seed sand membranes; rinse. Place peppers, cut side up, in a 9 x 9 inch glass pan. Cover with plastic wrap and microwave 3 to 5 1/2 minutes. Mix rice, ground beef, garlic salt and 1 cup tomato sauce. Stuff peppers with above mixture. Pour remaining sauce over peppers. Cover with plastic wrap; microwave 6 minutes. Turn dish 1/4 turn; microwave 7 minutes longer. Sprinkle with cheese.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
