PEAS WITH MUSHROOMS, BACON AND
CREAM
 
1/2 lb. mushrooms
1 tbsp. finely minced shallots
4 tbsp. butter
2 pkg. frozen peas
1/2 c. heavy cream
8 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
Salt and pepper to taste

Saute mushrooms and shallots in butter until mushrooms are tender. Add peas and cream and continue cooking until peas are tender. Add bacon and seasonings, toss. Heat through and serve. Serves 8.
