MEAT SAUCE 
12 lg. ripe tomatoes, peeled & chopped
2 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. vinegar
1 tsp. cinnamon
4 lg. yellow onions, ground
4 bell peppers, cut fine
1 tsp. black pepper
1 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. mixed pickling spices (tie in cheesecloth)

Mix all ingredients in large heavy kettle. Cook until thick. Remove spices and seal in pint jars that have been sterilized.
