AUNT GERT'S POTATO SALAD 
5 lb. new potatoes
1-2 med. onions, diced
Celery seed
Salt and pepper to taste
Miracle Whip or mayonnaise

FRENCH DRESSING:

3/4 c. oil
1/4 c. vinegar
1/2 level tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
Pepper to taste

Boil potatoes until fork tender. Peel potatoes while still hot. Refrigerate for several hours until potatoes are cold. Slice cold potatoes thinly, layer potatoes, onions, celery seed, salt, and pepper. Thin slices are important to flavor.

Prepare French Dressing; pour over potato mixture; mix thoroughly and refrigerate. Just before serving, stir in 3-4 tablespoons Miracle Whip or mayonnaise. Mix well and serve.
