BONNIE'S DEVEREAUX APPLE COBBLER 
These measurements are for each large can of apples used. (Equals three pies.)

2 1/4 c. sugar
6 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. cinnamon
Several dashes of nutmeg

Combine all of the above and mix with the apples. Pour into a greased pan. Dot with butter.

TOPPING:

1 1/2 c. sugar
2 1/4 c. flour
1 c. butter, at room temperature

Combine topping ingredients until it resembles cornmeal. Spread over top of apples. Bake in a preheated oven at 425 degrees until bubbly and top is brown. Will serve 18 to 24 depending on serving size.
