CRUSTY SWEET POTATOES | |
3 c. canned sweet potatoes 1 c. sugar 1 stick butter 1 tbsp. vanilla 2 eggs TOPPING: 1 c. brown sugar 1/3 c. all-purpose flour 1/3 c. butter 1 c. black walnuts or pecans Beat mashed sweet potatoes, sugar, softened butter, vanilla and eggs together. Place in a greased baking dish. Mix topping ingredients together and sprinkle over potatoes. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. (Canned sweet potatoes are better than fresh for this recipe.) |
