POT ROAST 
3 lb. chuck roast
6 carrots
8 potatoes
1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 cans water
Garlic salt
Pepper

In a roasting pan, combine soup mix and cream of mushroom soup with 2 cans water. Add roast. Sprinkle garlic salt and pepper over roast. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cook roast, covered for 45 minutes. Add carrots and potatoes. Add more water, if necessary. Turn oven to 250 degrees and cook for 2 hours.
