SOUTHERN PECAN PIE 
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter, melted
1 c. corn syrup
3 eggs
1 tbsp. flour
1 c. pecan halves
1 tsp. vanilla

Arrange pecan halves in bottom of pie shell. Beat eggs; add butter, corn syrup, and vanilla. Stir until well blended. Combine sugar and flour; blend with egg mixture. Pour over nuts in pie shell. Let stand until the nuts rise to the top. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
