CHARLEY'S BUTTERSCOTCH CANDIES
(Cookies)
 
12 oz. pkg. butterscotch bits (from Publix)
1 c. cocktail peanuts
1 (5 oz.) can chow mein noodles

Melt butterscotch bits over hot but not boiling water. Gently "scrunch" the noodles with a large vegetable bowl so they won't be so long in the candies/cookies.

Remove melted butterscotch from heat. Add noodles then peanuts. Toss/stir gently until well coated. Drop by teaspoon onto wax paper (on a cookie sheet). Let cool thoroughly. Store in containers. Taste delicious when kept in refrigerator.

Gently squeeze!
