BROWN FLOUR POTATO SOUP 
5-6 med. potatoes, diced
1/4 c. cooking oil
1/4 c. flour
Salt and pepper to taste

Cook diced potatoes until soft. Set aside. Put oil in frying pan, add flour. Heat on medium until flour begins to brown. Add potatoes along with the water they were cooked in. Stir and serve. Great with homemade bread and apple butter.
