ABBY'S PECAN PIE 
1 c. white corn syrup
1 c. brown sugar, light or dark
1/3 c. melted butter
3 eggs, beaten
Dash of vanilla
1 (1 lb.) bag pecans, halved

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat eggs, then add remaining ingredients, saving pecans for last. Pour into pie crust. Cover with tin foil. Bake from 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until done. Fork inserted into pie should come out fairly dry.
