KAHLUA 
1/5 brandy
1 oz. instant coffee
2 oz. vanilla extract
4 c. sugar
2 c. water

In large pot, boil water. Add sugar, stirring to dissolved as much as possible. Add instant coffee. Mix well. Let cool. Add vanilla extract and brandy. Store in a dark bottle what you don't use immediately. (Adjust other ingredients proportionately for a liter.)
