CHICKEN WITH RICE AND PEAS | |
1 jar Ragu Italian cooking sauce 2-3 lb. broiler chicken, cut into 8 pieces each 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas 1 1/2 c. rice, uncooked Brown chicken for 10 minutes each side in hot oil. Drain off all excess oil. Pour jar of Ragu sauce over chicken. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 45 minutes. Prepare rice according to package directions. Add peas when water begins to boil. Place rice and peas in large serving bowl. Place chicken on top and pour extra sauce over all. Serves 8. |
