LIVER WITH GRAVY 
1 to 1 1/2 lbs. liver
1/2 to 1 onion, sliced
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. hot water
1 chicken bouillon cube
Salt and pepper to taste

Heat a small amount of oil in frying pan. Brown each side of liver. Mix hot water an flour and add to pan. For more gravy, double amounts of flour and water. Add onions and bouillon cube. Stir. Simmer until done. Serve with mashed potatoes.

This is excellent recipe. Simple but great. I always brown my liver on one side - then add onion - and continue cooking until onion is somewhat tender. The gravy is outstanding - especially over the mashed potatoes.
