BAKED RICE WITH MUSHROOMS
CASSEROLE
 
3/4 stick butter
2 tsp. minced onions
3/4 c. white long grain rice
1 can beef consomme
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1 (7 oz.) can sliced mushrooms

Melt butter; add onions and simmer. Add rice and simmer until brown; add liquids, salt, and mushrooms. Pour into casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
