APPLE CRUMB PIE 
1 (9 inch) unbaked pastry shell
5-7 tart apples
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon

Combine apples, sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Place in pie shell. Cover with topping.

TOPPING:

1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour
1/3 c. softened butter

Mix sugar and flour. Cut into butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over apple. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. Drop temperature to 350 degrees and continue baking 40-45 minutes.
