1 c. white flour
1/2 c. salt
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 tsp. alum

Add a small amount of water at a time until consistency of bread dough. It will be more than 1/2 cup. Add food coloring, preferably to the water before mixing. You can make colors not available, such as purple, by creatively mixing colors. Store in an airtight container or plastic bag. It lasts a long time.
