DOUBLE - CRUST TACO PIE | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 (1 1/4 oz.) pkg. taco seasoning mix 2 (8 oz.) cans refrigerated crescent dinner rolls 4 c. (16 oz.) shredded Monterey Jack cheese, divided Sour cream Salsa Lettuce Tomatoes C ook ground beef in a skillet until browned, stirring to crumble meat; drain well. Add taco seasoning mix and prepare according to package directions. Set meat mixture aside. Unroll 1 can of crescent rolls into 2 rectangles; press long sides together and place between 2 sheets of waxed paper. Roll with rolling pin to make 13 x 8 inch rectangle. Repeat with second can of rolls. Place one rectangle of dough on an ungreased cookie sheet. Sprinkle with 2 cups cheese. Spread ground beef mixture evenly over cheese; sprinkle with remaining 2 cups of cheese. Top with second rectangle of dough, pressing all edges to seal. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes or until browned. Serve topped with sour cream, salsa and chopped lettuce and tomatoes. |
