CURRIED RICE 
4 c. cooked rice
3 cloves minced garlic
1 lg. onion, diced
1 tbsp. basil
1 tbsp. oregano
3/4 c. cooking sherry
1/2-1 c. curry powder

Saute onions and garlic in 1/4 cup butter. Add basil, oregano and curry powder. Stir in cooking sherry. Mix with rice. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Freezes well. Is better if made a day ahead and then baked when needed. Serves 6 to 8.
