BEEF & GREEN PEPPERS 
1 lb. tender beef, sliced 1/8 x 2 x 2 inches
1 green onion, sliced thin
1 1/2 c. green peppers, sliced thin
3 to 4 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. salad oil
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1 1/4 c. water mixed with 2 tbsp. cornstarch
3 to 4 c. steamed hot rice

Heat salad oil in frying pan until very hot. Add beef, onion and fry until brown. Add green pepper, cook 2 minutes, add soy sauce, cornstarch mixed with water and blend thoroughly. Mix well with meat. Cook for 3 minutes. Serve with hot rice.
