TOOTHPICK MEATBALLS (FROM THE 8
WEEK CHOLESTEROL CURE)
 
1 small bottle ketchup
10 oz. jar of grape jelly
juice of 1 lemon
1 lb. ground turkey
1/4 c. oat bran

Mix ketchup, jelly and lemon juice in a medium sized saucepan. Heat until bubbling. Meanwhile, mix the turkey with the oat bran and form into walnut sized balls. Drop the balls into the bubbling mixture. Cover and simmer for about 30 minutes stirring occasionally. Serve hot with toothpicks. (This is a favorite main dish at our house the kids love it.)
