NEW ENGLAND TOLL HOUSE MUFFINS 
2 c. all-purpose flour
2/3 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. white sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1 c. sour cream
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate morsels

Mix all dry ingredients in a large bowl. In another bowl, whisk egg, milk, sour cream, melted butter and vanilla. Make a well in the dry ingredients and add wet ingredients, blending lightly. Quickly fold in nuts and chocolate morsels. Spoon into greased muffin tins and bake at 375 degrees until tester comes out clean, about 20 minutes.
