BREAKFAST CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. bulk sausage 8 slices bread, trimmed & buttered on 1 side) 2 c. shredded cheddar cheese (6-8 oz.) 8 eggs 2 c. milk Salt & pepper to taste Jalapenos (opt.) 1. Scramble sausage, drain grease. 2. Put buttered bread in 13"x9" pan, buttered side down. 3. Sprinkle bread with cooked sausage. 4. Top with cheese. 5. In separate bowl, combine eggs, milk, salt and pepper. 6. Pour mixture over sausage and cheese. 7. Cover and refrigerate night before. 8. In morning, bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes. 9. If your family likes it hot, top with jalapenos before refrigerating. |
