CHICKEN MARENGO 
8 oz. bow tie macaroni
1 1/2 c. cream-style cottage cheese
3 c. cooked chicken, diced
2 c. Cheddar cheese (longhorn), shredded
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
3 tbsp. butter
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/3 c. milk
1 can (6 oz.) sliced mushrooms or sauteed fresh mushrooms
1/4 c. pimiento
1/2 tsp. powdered basil

Saute onion and green pepper in butter. Stir in soup, milk, mushrooms, pimiento, and basil.

In a 13x9x2 inch baking dish, layer (lasagna-style) bow ties, cottage cheese, chicken, Cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, and sauce. Make two or three layers. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes to 1 hour.

Serves 8 to 10.
