TEX-MEX BEEF CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
2 tsp. salt
1 can kidney beans
1 can tomatoes
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 c. rice
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. chili powder
Black pepper to taste

Saute meat and onions until brown; drain. Add rice and cook 5 to 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Add rest of ingredients and cook until steamy. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes.
