HAMBURGER CORN PONE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/3 c. chopped onions
1 tbsp. shortening
2 tsp. chili powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 can tomatoes
1 can drained kidney beans
1 box cornbread mix

Brown meat and onions. Add seasonings and tomatoes. Cover and simmer over low heat for 15 minutes. Add kidney beans and pour into baking dish. Mix cornbread mix as directed on box. Spoon onto top of meat mixture. Bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes.
