BRAN MUFFINS 
2 c. boiling water
2 c. Nabisco 100% bran
1 heaping c. shortening
4 c. Kellogg's All Bran
1 qt. buttermilk
4 eggs, beaten
5 c. flour
5 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3 c. sugar (less if desired)

Pour boiling water over Nabisco Bran. Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs, soaked bran, buttermilk. Sift dry ingredients, add with Kellogg's All Bran. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Mix can be kept up to 6 weeks in refrigerator. Use as needed or bake all and freeze muffins.
