OVEN CARAMEL POPCORN | |
2 c. sugar 2 sticks butter 1/4 c. molasses 1/2 c. corn syrup 6 qts. popped corn 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. vanilla Boil sugar, butter, molasses, corn syrup and salt for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add baking soda and vanilla. Stir well over popped corn (may add nuts of your choice) and spread on cookie sheet. Bake in 200 degree oven for 1 hour, stirring at 15 minute intervals. Remove from oven and let cool. Store in covered container to keep crisp. |
