RHUBARB APPLE CRUNCH 
1 c. rolled oats
1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 c. rhubarb, cut into 1 inch pieces
1 1/2 c. applesauce

In medium bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, and butter. Mix with fork until crumbly. Pat 1/2 mixture into greased 8 inch square pan. In medium pan combine sugar and rhubarb. Simmer 8 minutes or until smooth. Add applesauce to rhubarb sauce. Remove from heat. Pour rhubarb over crust and top with remaining crumb mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serve warm topped with ice cream.
