SUPER SOUP 
1 1/2 lb. diced chuck steak or stew meat
2 lg. cans tomatoes, chopped
2 lg. onions, chopped
3 lb. potatoes, chunks
3-4 carrots, sliced
1 whole small napa cabbage, sliced
1 can string beans
1 can lima beans
Any vegetable you like (use leftovers)
2 stalks celery
1 stick butter
4-5 cloves garlic, chopped fine
Salt and pepper to taste

Brown meat and onions. Add a quart of water; bring to a boil. Add tomatoes. Simmer until meat is almost done. Add potatoes and carrots, celery, seasonings. When tender, add napa cabbage. Simmer 5 minutes, add canned vegetables. May thicken lightly with flour if desired.
