BRANDIED BAKED SQUASH 
1 med. size acorn squash, halved and cleaned
3 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. ginger
1/8 c. brandy
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. honey

In saucepan melt butter; add cinnamon, ginger, honey, and brandy. Simmer 2-3 minutes; remove from heat.

Place squash open side up in deep baking dish with 2-3 inches water surrounding squash. Pour sauce into squash halves and baste edges. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
