1 c. lard or butter
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
2 c. mincemeat
2 tsp. baking soda or baking powder
1 c. milk
3 1/2 to 4 c. flour

Mix and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Good with powdered sugar and water frosting topping, but not necessary.
