MICROWAVE TOOTSIE ROLLS 
1 sq. unsweetened chocolate
1 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. dark Karo syrup
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. powdered sugar
1/4 c. plus 2 tbsp. nonfat dry milk

Place in a 4 cup measures the unsweetened chocolate and butter. Cook on high until melted. Add syrup and vanilla. Cook 1 minute on high. Add powdered sugar and nonfat dry milk, stir well. Place on waxed paper that has been dusted with powdered sugar. Knead and add remaining 1/4 cup powdered sugar if needed to make a stiff ball. Divide ball to 4 parts, roll out and divide into separate pieces.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
