BARBECUE RIBS 
1 1/2 c. tomato ketchup
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. black pepper
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. water
1/4 c. vinegar (white)
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
1 tsp. salt
2 med. onions, chopped

Take 4 or 5 pounds of fresh spareribs; cut into sections of 4 or 5 ribs a pieces. Lay them in a large roasting pan and blend together the above ingredients. After blending, pour sauce over ribs and cover. Bake at 350 degrees or moderate oven for 1 hour. Uncover and cook for 30 minutes. The ribs should be turned and basted frequently. Serves 3 or 4.
